DC, IEEE, Portico awarded grant to link publications with data

The Data Conservancy, in partnership with IEEE and Portico, have been awarded a grant to link publications with data.  The $602,000 grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation will support the creation of a service to do just that.  This service will also preserve the myriad relationships that often exist between and among scholarly and scientific publications and associated datasets.  The full press release for this award can be found at:  http://www.portico.org/digital-preservation/news-events/news/the-data-conservancy-ieee-and-portico-receive-alfred-p-sloan-foundation-grant-to-connect-publications-and-their-linked-data
